Italian BMS Scuderia Italia has completed the official qualifying sessions at the 24 Hours of Le Mans achieving a formidable 3:53.611 lap time and will start, on Saturday, from the 24th position, 4th in GT category, just behind of the Official Aston Martin and the Corvette n.64.
Aston Martin Racing today confirms its participation in the 74th Le Mans 24-hours, and its driver line-up for the race, which takes place on June 17-18.

Tomas Enge took pole position in the GT1 class at the third round of the American Le Mans Series at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio today. The Czech driver drove his number 007 Aston Martin DBR9 around the 2.25 mile circuit in a time of 1m18.857s, a little under two tenths of a second ahead of team-mate Pedro Lamy, who will line up third in GT1 in the 009 Aston Martin DBR9 with a time of 1m19.041s.

The Aston Martin Racing team today had its first experience of the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, which plays host to the third round of the American Le Mans Series this weekend. The driver line up from round two at Houston remains the same with Tomas Enge and Darren Turner sharing the number 007 Aston Martin DBR9, and Pedro Lamy and Stephane Sarrazin at the wheel of the number 009 DBR9.

Aston Martin Racing recorded a podium finish at the second round of the American Le Mans Series in Houston, Texas, on Friday evening.
