Pirro, Audi Fastest on Wet Mosport Morning
Emanuele Pirro turned in the fastest time during a damp 30 minutes Sunday morning at Mosport International Raceway as the rain continued to fall prior to the Mobil1 presents Labour Day Weekend Grand Prix of Mosport. The defending Series LMP1 co-champion posted a lap of 1:25.205 in the No. 1 Audi R10 TDI.

Weaver, Dyson on Pole Again at Wet Mosport
Rain washed out qualifying for the Mobil 1 presents Labour Day Weekend Grand Prix of Mosport on Saturday, putting James Weaver and Dyson Racing’s No. 16 Lola on pole position for Sunday’s eighth round of the American Le Mans Series.
Dumas, Smith Lead Pack at Mosport Testing
Romain Dumas apparently isn’t content with just one track record at Mosport International Raceway. The Frenchman went under the LMP2 qualifying record on Friday and posted the fastest time during a two-hour test session for the Grand Prix of Mosport in his Porsche RS Spyder.

In His Own Words: Emanuele Pirro
Emanuele Pirro is ecstatic to be back in the American Le Mans Series, and it’s safe to say so are his legions fans. After an unfortunate retirement at Sebring in the debut race for the diesel-powered Audi R10 TDI, Pirro and Biela returned to Europe in preparation of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which they captured for the fourth time in June. Now Pirro and Biela are back with Audi Sport North America, which has entered two R10 TDIs for the remaining schedule.

Pirro, Biela Lead Audi 1-2 Finish at Road America
A terrific restart with 15 minutes left sent Emanuele Pirro and Frank Biela to victory for the second straight year in the Generac 500 at Road America on Sunday. It was the second American Le Mans Series win in three races for the Audi Sport North America duo following their triumph at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June.

It was Audi vs. Dyson at the start of the Generac 500 at Road Atlanta …literally. Allan McNish has driven his pole-sitting Audi R10 TDI to an early-race lead over James Weaver in the No. 16 Dyson Racing Lola with Lucas Lurh in the No. 7 Penske Porsche RS Spyder a close third.
