Two Risi Competizione Ferrari F430GT race cars finished first and second in class in the Labour Day Grand Prix of Mosport American Le Mans Series Race held at the Mosport race track in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada. It was a historic day for Ferrari in the ALMS series as Risi Competizione won their third race of the season with the number 62 Risi Competizione Ferrari driven by Stephane Ortelli and Johnny Mowlen; their teammates, Toni Vilander and Maurzio Mediani drove the Number 61 Ferri Competizione/Ferrari of Silicon Valley F430GT to second place.

The win was the third of the season for the Houston-based Risi Competizione team; it also marked the first time that Ferrari has captured the top two spots on the podium.
“We are delighted with this effort for the team” said team Managing Director Giuseppe Risi. “It doesn’t get any better than a one-two finish. Remo Ferri and Giacomo Mattioli have joined us to campaign the Ferri Competizione/Ferrari of Silicon Valley F430GT in ALMS and the result today shows what happens when two Ferraris take the racetrack. Stephane Ortelli, Johnny Mowlem, Toni Vilander, and Maurizio Mediani drove great races. Our crew did a thoroughly professional job of setting the cars up and the Michelin tires were superb. It was a great team effort and every member of the team shares in this wonderful result.”
