It’s Back to Work For Tafel Racing
For a first-year effort in the American Le Mans Series, Tafel Racing had an extraordinary week at Sebring last week for the Series’ three-day test session. The Cumming, GA-based team posted the fastest time among all GT2 cars during the week with one of its new Porsche 997 RSR racers, both of which will contest the full season beginning with the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring on March 17.
Sebring Winter Testing 2007 Complete
Sebring Winter Test 2007 is complete while we wait for the green flag to drop at the Mobil One Twelve Hours of Sebring. Since its inception, the public receives its first view on new technology of what will be competing in the new season. This year the Acura prototype was the car that everyone has traveled to see.  They will be competing in the P2 class with three different teams. Not to be outdone, Porsche also released a new version of the RS Spyder and 911 GT3 RSR 997.
Wallace, Dyson Porsche Fastest at Sebring Testing
Andy Wallace really, really likes the Porsche RS Spyder. After Wednesday’s third and final session of the third annual American Le Mans Series Winter Test at Sebring International Raceway, who could blame him? The Englishman’s time of 1:46.983 in Dyson Racing’s new prototype was the fastest of the day and the best of the week.
Collard Quickest Wednesday Morning at Sebring
Frenchman Emmanuel Collard kept Penske Motorsports and its Porsche RS Spyder at the time of the timing sheet Wednesday morning at Sebring on the final day of the American Le Mans Series Winter Test. The Porsche factory pilot’s best time was a 1:47.166 lap around the 17-turn, 3.7-mile circuit.
In Her Own Words: Danica Patrick
Danica Patrick made her return to American Le Mans Series competition Tuesday afternoon for Andretti Green Racing. She drove approximately 20 laps at Sebring International Raceway in the team’s Acura-powered Courage LC75 with a best time of 1:52.4 around the 17-turn, 3.7-mile circuit. It was Patrick’s first prototype experience in the Series and her first appearance since Petit Le Mans in 2003 when she drove a Prodrive Ferrari 550 Maranello in GTS.

Ryan Briscoe hasn’t wasted any time acquainting himself with the Porsche RS Spyder. The Australian factory driver set the fastest time in each of Tuesday’s two sessions of the American Le Mans Series Winter Test at Sebring International Raceway.
Porsches on Top Tuesday Morning at Sebring
Newcomer Ryan Briscoe posted the fastest time in Tuesday’s opening session of the American Le Mans Series Winter Test at Sebring. Fresh off a contract signing that established him as a Porsche factory pilot, the Australian toured Sebring International Raceway in 1:47.280 in the team’s No. 6 Porsche RS Spyder.
Penske, Porsche Quickest After First Day of Test
Penske Motorsports and Porsche finished atop the timing sheets after the first day of the American Le Mans Series Winter Test at Sebring International Raceway on Monday, besting last year’s qualifying pace by more than a half second.
Lowe’s Fernandez Lola Fastest in First Session
The day’s second four-hour session of the American Le Mans Series Winter Test is underway at Sebring. The morning session ended under cloudy skies and winds that eventually led to a brief shower. Cars are on the track and will continue into the afternoon to close out the first day.
Sebring Winter Test Preview
The winter months are upon us as we wait for the cars of the American Le Mans Series to fire up into action in mid-March. Winter Test Sessions are finally showing us a preview of some of the new equipment from new and old teams. It has been an exciting season with questions that still have not been answered.
