Liz Halliday on…Le Mans
This weekend, LIZ HALLIDAY returns to Le Mans for the official test day that forms the prelude to the world’s most famous endurance sports car race.
Liz and teammates Clint Field and Duncan Dayton will each pilot the Intersport Racing Lola in their bid to capture the LMP2 class victory at the famed 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The race, scheduled for June 17-18, will be televised worldwide, with United States coverage provided by SPEED Channel and throughout Europe by MotorsTV.

Milner Rounds Out Panoz Lineup at Le Mans
Young American star Tom Milner has been selected by Multimatic Motorsports Team Panoz to complete its driver lineup for next month’s 24 Hours of Le Mans, joining Scott Maxwell and Gunnar Jeannette aboard the team’s Panoz Esperante GTLM.
Forza Motorsport 2, Xbox 360 Ride with Risi Ferrari
Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios have announced their involvement and sponsorship of Risi Competizione’s Ferrari 430GT for the American Le Mans Series. As the official racing simulator during the entire race season, the Ferrari’s paint scheme will display Forza Motorsport 2 and Xbox 360® on the hood of the car.

At the drop of the green flag the American Le Mans Series rolled into action with the third round with sunny clear skies. Audi Extends American Le Mans Series Lead
Audi will return to American Le Mans Series action in six weeks time leading the LM P1 class following a third consecutive maximum score. Dindo Capello (Italy) and Allan McNish (Scotland) claimed a hard earned class victory – third place overall – in their Audi Sport North America “factory” Audi R8 in the third round of the 10-race series at Mid-Ohio (US state of Ohio) on Sunday.

Corvette Racing Reign Continues at Mid-Ohio
LEXINGTON, Ohio - Morning rain gave way to brilliant sunshine today as Corvette Racing continued its reign in the American Le Mans at Mid-Ohio. Oliver Gavin and Olivier Beretta extended Corvette Racing’s winning streak at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course to five straight ALMS victories in the GT1 class. A runner-up finish by Ron Fellows and Johnny O’Connell made it five consecutive 1-2 finishes at Mid-Ohio by Chevy’s factory team.

Penske, Porsches Finish 1-2 at Mid-Ohio
The Captain’s cars have made American Le Mans Series history. Penske Racing’s two Porsche RS Spyders finished 1-2 overall in the American Le Mans at Mid-Ohio, becoming the first LMP2 class team to post such a result in the Series.

Porsche RS Spyder Wins Overall at Mid-Ohio
The #7 Porsche RS Spyder, entered by Penske Motorsports, which was forced to the rear of the grid after pole-setting qualifying times because of a slight vehicle weight violation, used spectacular driving at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course by German Timo Bernhard and Frenchman Romain Dumas to score Porsche.s first overall win in the American Le Mans Series since its inception in 1999.
